New update

So, I have went on a couple trips since my last entry...Columbus, Ohio; and Vancouver, Washington. (I was also in Portland, Oregon at different times while visiting in Washington, since Portland is right across from Vancouver.)

Columbus trip:   FUN FUN FUN!! We will have to do that again sometime...when I am not broke as a joke.

Here are some pictures from that trip:

Well, April 12th makes 34 months for me and Joshie! It's also been one year since my dad passed away. Bitter sweet, and emotions are confusing right now. But he's certainly in a better place and I love him so much. I miss my dad like crazy, even though we used to fight all of the time. We were so much a like, and now I feel like I lost a little piece of me.

WEll I should get to bed...peace

Not much going on...other than the fact that this weather is creeping me out! RAIN and SNOW! And it's been 40 degrees (or there about) and the snow is sticking to the ground!

School starts back up this week, and I am not looking forward to it! It's been great not having to balance school and work at the same time, as well as my social life. But I have a feeling that this quarter will be a nice change of pace from last quarter. NOT TO MENTION I HAVE THE BIGGEST PAY OFF AT THE END OF THE WEEK!!! Rocket Summer and Relient K, Columbus attractions, Hotel beds(great for jumping on) and continental breakfasts...what more could I want? Oh yeah, I get to experience all that with some of my most favorite people in the world!

Sorry Natalie, that we won't be having High Tea...and I spoke to a girl I work with, who just got back from London, on Thursday, and she said that High Tea was ridiculously expensive there! (30 lbs! That's like $60 here!) She said their lb equals 2 of our dollars.

Lydia, I can't wait to see Rhi-man tonight!!!

Mackenzie, I don't even know what to say to you and your recent outbursts of crudeness.

J-A-shua, I love you bunches, have fun tonight at GG!!

UPDATE UPDATE!

Surprisingly, I've been doing really well about updating...which is more than I can say for some of my close pals...not naming any names...Josh, Natalie, Mackenzie! GEESH!

If any one is thinking about going to see "The Ringer", let me help you decide...GO SEE IT! It's hysterical, and I couldn't stop laughing every time Glen spoke! It's a great movie for conversation, and I was surprised it went to the bargain theatres so quickly! Speaking of bargain theaters, I'm pretty sure that Josh, Lydia, and myself are going to see RENT at Danbarry for 1$. Apparently, according to the very nice blockbuster gal, Tuesdays are 1$ movie days at Danbarry!! I am so excited, so hopefully the plans don't fall through. And anyone else is welcome to with us.

Well, I'm at work, and I don't really have a lot to write about, so I guess I will catch you all later!

peace

Good Morning Starshine, THE EARTH SAYS HELLO!

So, I woke up on time, for a change...LYDI! I got ready and allowed plenty of time for me to make it to my interview with the Speedway Corporation, in Enon, at 9 am. However, I some how ended up at the Xenia airport and had to turn around. The important part, is that I made it...even if I was 15 minutes late, and I think they were really impressed with what I had to offer The second guy who interviewed me told me that he thought I would be a good candidate for the position and that I had a good head on my shoulders. So...that was a major plus, considering for the longest time I hadn't even been hearing back from places I applied to.

I also interviewed with a woman who owns a day care center, for school aged children. THIS IS SOMETHING I REALLY WANT TO DO! It's a non-profit organization, and it's maximum enrollement is 36 kids. This would really give us one on one time with the kids. At bigger facilities, the kids kind of get lost in the mix, and I really liked the ratio of kids per advisor at this center!! I hope they find interest in me!!! It's a little pay cut, but I would get a raise after 90 days, and I really thinks it's about what makes you happy. If you find a job that you really like, then you will want to be there more often and in the end you will make more money.

So, tomorrow I have 2 tests, which I am studying for, and hopefully I do well on those. Otherwise, I just really want praise God for some positive things in my life. I don't want to get "preachy" on everyone, but I do have this excitement for life recently, that has been missing the past couple of years. I really want to thank God for his perfect plan, in placing my best friends in my life. YOU ALL mean so much to me, and I wouldn't trade any one of you in for some one else. You guys make me realize just how lost I would be with out you to keep me on a solid path. Josh, you too are a bold force in my life. You have so much life in you, that you make up for me as well! lol I know I am lame some times, but your fierce outgoing attitude and "throw the caution to the wind" outlook on life make me even more alive than usual. I have to say, that since I have been working out and keeping an eye on what I eat and when I eat it, I feel GREAT! JUST LIKE TONY THE TIGGER lol, So, I'm sorry for all the mushy gooshy feely good stuff, but I had to let you all in on this energy I have!

Love

nicki*
